Hale Picking Company began with a simple friendship. Even though we had grown up in different states, we both chose to settle down in the rolling hills of Hale Township. We soon realized that we shared many interests including a love for our families, the simplicity of quiet country life and an obsession for scavenging for old furniture and antiques. As our homes filled with our “picks,” as Amber’s father used to call them, we realized that we wanted to share our passion with others. 

There seems to be a trend right now, in which brand new decor items are made to look old and are also ridiculously overpriced. We wanted to find storied pieces, breath new life into them and price them affordably for others to enjoy. Our mission is to give these old pieces a new home so that they can be passed down for future generations to cherish.
