Inspiration

In August, 2019 our families hosted an appreciation dinner for all of the close family and friends who really supported us these past years. At the end of the evening our friend, Gary, whose bus garage we had been using to store all of our items, suggested that we buy the old feed mill in Northfield. We immediately got online and started looking at the property. The next morning we drove by and called the realtor to set up an actual appointment. It was at that viewing of the mill that both Amber and I, as well as our husbands began to realize that this property was something that we wanted to invest in! Of course there is no shortage of work to do, and I am sure that many think we are crazy. However, restoring this old feed mill is going to be a family affair that will help teach our boys lessons that will last a lifetime. Follow along with us on Facebook and Instagram to watch the progress as we restore the mill!

    old books

Remove dust jackets from older books to reveal well-worn fabric covers. I like to switch a few books out based on the season; some yellow and orange covered books provide a nice pop of color for fall while deep reds and dark greens are great for Christmas. Browns, grays and black covers work for anytime of the year.
